FIPS JUICY: BEST STORIES OF THE WEEK
In case you've spent this week recovering from Breaking Bad's epic season 4 finale, or prepping your pun-heavy signs for tomorrow's Occupy Brooklyn, here's a quick wrap-up of juicy FiPS news that graced the pages of our blog this week:
* Bushwick Woman to give birth as part of art exhibit: We can all agree that this woman is going to poop in front of strangers, which is a gross thing. Right? OK, good.
* Occupy Corcoran on Carroll Street: Not to be outdone by Wall Street, a single Brooklyn man occupies Carroll Street over a certificate of occupancy.
* Sweetwolf's: Tim & Eric's Awesome Show: Our own Park Slope foodie and snack guy Paropyro chats with the owners and gets a look around the new digs.
* NYPD Promises to increase sensitivity in light of sexual attacks: That's right, NYPD. No more telling girls they shouldn't be wearing shorts after a workout at NYSC.
* 6th Ave Public library not opening any time soon: This seems to be Park Slope's most comically long and expensive renovation. As commenter Jbob put it, "So it will take 2 1/2 years to build the Barclays Center-a giant arena-from scratch but 3 years to do moderate renovations to an average size branch library. This is an epic fail."
* The Latin kings totally love park slope: They're like The Kings of Comedy, except they're a gang. Anyway, Park Slope moms are PISSED.
* Sunset Man Arrested this morning after sexual attack: 1 down, more to go.
