A Park Slope Mom Comic With A Bite

Image from Park Slope Dusk, Park Slope Dusk by Mike Dawson

Mike Dawson is a Park Slope resident comic artist extraordinaire. Although his latest graphic novel, Troop 142 has nothing to do with the Slope, his newest web comic short, Prospect Park Dusk, Prospect Park Dawn DOES. It centers on a Park Slope mom who's struggling with a little problem she has to keep under wraps from the rest of the hood. Don't worry FIPS'ters: there's nothing trite or stereotypical about it. No mention of a stroller anywhere in site. As a matter of fact, I think this mom kicks some ass in a dark sorta way. Give it a read.
