FIPS ToDo's

* On December 21st, bring your kids to take part in New York's oldest continuing Holiday Tradition: Honoring Clement Clarke Moore. Moore's poem, "A Visit From St. Nicholas" (written for his six children), did much to popularize many of the traditional/fanciful aspects of the Christmas holiday celebration as we know it today (MUG).

*Check out what its like in Flatbush (Brooklyn Based).

*Adopt a black dog...cuz you're a rebel like dat. The Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition is a good place to start. (Buzzfeed).

*Catch hilarious Park Slope resident (and PC poseur) John Hodgman tonight for a reading at Barnes & Noble on 7th Avenue at 7:30pm (Twitter).

*Get outraged like Campbell Brown (could she *be* any hotter?) (Cityfile).

*Call in "gay" today (MSNBC)

*Catch up on the Top 10 stories you missed in 2008 (Kottke).

You can do more than just adopt at BARC - you can walk the dogs too. It's easy - walk up, fill out a volunteer form & they hand you a dog. Come back in 45 minutes. We're going this morning, because wtf else are we gonna do when you're unemployed?
