HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM: [E-Mailing With Dead People]

This morning I went to email someone named Marcello...I started typing his name into my little google box and boom, this name popped up: Marcia Goldstein.

My mom died 4 years ago and I still refuse to delete her name from my e-mail contacts because, well...I just do.

And then I remembered...today is her birthday.

I've emailed Marcello like 10 times before, and my mom's name never popped up...and then today it did.

This is not a coincidence--I'm quite sure of it.

I needed to be reminded today that I should be thinking about her and missing her, and yeah: I was.
